The final activity to mark Dominica’s 33rd anniversary of Independence concluded near 8 am on Sunday morning. East Fest formerly Creole in the East was held at the Reunion Center in Castle Bruce. This event is held annually with the aim of providing more exposure for upcoming bands. The event kicked off at about 10 pm with persons from all over the island converging at the Reunion Center.

Bands who performed included SOS Band, Derick ‘Rah’ Peters, The Swinging Stars Band, Sour Sour, and the Bouyon Pioneers WCK.  The day break kings Triple Kay Global brought the curtains down on the event at about 9 am.
