Remie.D first started DJing back in 2006 as she was fed up of male DJ’s running the Soca scene and she hardly knew of any female DJ’s in the soca scene.

Remie.D got her big break, when she became known as the “female DJ ” at the popular soca fete ” The Caribbean Lime”, after her early warm up sets were just what the crowd needed to start the night off right.

Things went from strength to strength as Remie.D became a regular DJ on local pirate radio stations, including: The Beat FM, Hot96 & Tempo FM. As she became more popular, she continued displaying her talent at different soca fetes across the UK, and Internationally, having played at soca fetes in both Sweden in 2009, and Grenada in 2009 & 2010.

Dubbed “The Soca Dutchess”, Remie.D has been nominated for numerous awards for her DJing, and has once again been dubbed the “female DJ” for the biggest mas band in London – Bachanal Mas (which she joined in 2007).
